DJ, yeah me too. Dec. 7, '52. Happy Birthday to you!

You too. Still get Happy Birthday/Merry Christmas presents. :p

How about that birthday present the Cards gave you in 2009? The Cards blew out Brett Farve's candles didn't they? It's ok that you got your present a day early.

I still don't think anyone over the age of 65 should be allowed to coach on any level. It is such an emotional game, I will just hate it when one of these old coots drop dead in the middle of a game on the sidelines. Just think how that would effect that team and how impossible it would be for them to continuing to play and concentrate. It would affect the standings and might change playoff implications for the whole league.

It is just a matter of time before one of these AARP members croaks during a televised game. Just hope it isn't our senior citizen.

Really? You can't be serious? Let's get rid of Pete, Bill, Tom, BRUCE, Fox, Andy. All 55+. Which teams are the best, hottest teams in the league? That's right. Teams that are coached by the above coaches.

Exceptions;

Niners (49)
Saints (49)
Ravens (51)
Rams (55)

Who coaches the rest of the teams? YOUNG coaches. I'll take my chances.

There is a saying "With age comes wisdom"

Evidently it's not working with on you.

That reminds me of Costanza:

As for Arians, I am a big Whisenhunt fan, but this is probably the best coached Cardinal team I have ever seen.

I know to the rest of the nation -- the narrative of "changing Arizona" fits neatly into their notions of what the Cardinals are about.

To me the "change" has come in steps -- new stadium, Mike taking over from his dad, Keim replacing Graves

at a minimum -- the Cardinals have moved into that middle class realm of "wants to win / has to pick its spots financially / will produce good teams half the time"

-- rather than "terribly managed / pretty much always bad / irrelevant to broader NFL discussions" where they were.

Second most of this. I have been telling people that this has been a new team since the about the time of the stadium vote. As soon as that happened Mike has been gaining more and more power within the organization and that has been the difference. IMO he gets all the credit because if he isn't here none of the rest happens.

I disagree that we will only be a good team half the time. I believe that with Keim we are a perennial playoff team.
