You don't pass on a guy like Luck if you are in position to get him, no doubt... but, I'd still like to see what Kolb would do without the worst pass blocking tackles in the NFL.

they haven't been that bad today all things considered. the tackles didn't make him throw several passes behind recievers

At this point, I would. Screw the players and staff. Get the number 1 pick. Sign a legit head coach in Gruden, Fisher, ect. Move on from this train wreck with two steps heading the right direction.

I didn't think the Colts were this bad, even without Manning but boy they blow. I bet you they would beat us 1v1 however, too bad we don't play each other. I doubt we'll get luck, but Kalil is looking like a serious possibility. It sucks we don't have a 2nd round pick, we have a lot of holes to fill.

This, even if the Cards end up with the #1 there is no way they take him because of Kolb. Even on the chance they did take them I dont think Whisenhunt and company are capable to develop him properly, so he'd probably get the "bust" label. I feel bad for whomever they draft come April.

We need a coach to play to Kolb's strengths. His needs to be in a offense that it built on timing and not thinking too much. Warner was as talented as smart and could make quick decisions. Take the decision out of Kolbs head and it more about timing routes and he will be a much better QB. We gave a lot for him, so you would think we would build a offense for him to flourish.

We are rebuilding anyhow, the current GM has so screwed the pooch that there's no reason to ever mess with Kolb now, Kolb is a cog in a wheel, you don't build around him, you just use him as a caretaker QB who should be good enough to get a good team to win.

Once it became obvious how bad we are we should just let a new GM figure it all out from scratch, I'm fine if they want to keep him but it's stupid to keep him just because you paid for him.

You can always cut him too or trade him.

You don't hamstring yourself to building around a guy like that as your only option.

Oh and I realize that I'm in complete fantasy world here thinking we'll get a new GM, after what happened today I'm just going to take that thought and run with it, the power of positive thinking and all, and it beats the horrifying thought that it might not and probably won't happen.
