Still recovering from the Cards game --

-- but did anyone catch the murder in Seattle? I'm just wondering were the Seahawks that good, or the 49'ers still reading their own press releases ?

The 49ers suck and Singletary is a sadist of a coach who will ruin that team every year. Seems they are getting a headstart on what I thought would happen in November.

Well, I imagine that the Seahawks fans are feeling pretty damn good about their chances in the NFC West.

Smith was ATROCIOUS, that I know. I'm sure goweak still think's it's Nolan's fault.

I'm 50-50, the Seahawks are better than advertised, the 49ers thought they were.

Maybe not. They saw enough today to know they have to worry a little bit about those pesky Rams. Bradford is only going to get better. Granted he got to open up against a pretty weak Cards defense but still, he showed signs of greatness.

Until we hire a real defensive coordinator and a strong O-Line coach no one's going to have to worry about us very much. This team is really ripping me up but at least we can still make fun of 49ers fans. BTW, can you just catch Bi-Polar Disorder?

Alex Smith and Mike Singletary will keep that team from being playoff caliber for as long as they're in SF

Can't wait to hear the back peddling tomorrow. After all, the Niners were gonna wrap up the West by October. Stupid national sports media.

Wait...you mean starting 2 rookies at O-Line isn't an automatic upgrade and a guarantee of a dominant running game???

ESPN promised me that starting 2 rookies would make them the most dominant team on earth.

You forgot "ever" at the end of that statement.

ESPN just shows how little anyone there cares about the NFC West. The problem is that the National Media has focused so much on who the Cardinals have lost, and failed to analyze how little the 49ers have actually improved.

Yeah, after a little while to digest things I realize I'm overreacting to a couple of bad plays by our defense. I'm still steamed giving up a first when you have them deep in their own territory on a 3rd and 12. It seems like we just do that kind of thing too often but all in all the D stepped up repeatedly today.
