Did we have a better free agent signing this year? I wouldn't call Bryant McFadden "marquee", either, but both guys were signed and immediately became starters.

I'm sure that you can find the same "he's not a big name around the NFL, but he's experienced and a leader" article about McFadden from 15 months ago as Darren Urban wrote about Paris Lenon in February.

Johnson was always hurt and was here a few years IIRC and Hood was here for 2 years as well. I'd like to see him brought back to play the nickel right now.

he has the distinction being the worst LB i have seen play in the NFL.And i've seen plenty of bad ones. You would think it seemed like he was on the roster for about 5 years as bad as he was.
