So far all I know is Larry Foote on Wednesday. I also heard Ryan Clark may be visiting. What have you guys heard?

The Cardinals are one of three team interested in G Artis Hicks (Vikings), but there was no report of a scheduled visit.

What did you hear about Ryan Clark, CT?

Sign Clark, Foote, bring in Porter. With McFadden and Haggans we'll have the old Steelers defense. Without the defenders on that squad that really mattered of course.

I don't wanna sound too cynical, but aren't there any other players available except ex-Steelers?

While we're at it, to shore up the offense, sign QB Charlie Batch, WR Antwan Randle-El, RB Willie Parker, TE Matt Spaeth and sign T Willie Colon to an offer sheet (2nd round compensation).:D

If I have one gripe with the FO it's why are they not bringing players this weekend? They just had a lot of losses at least be proactive and get somebody in here.

I'm fairly certain that the phones and BlackBerry's are pretty active at this point.

Well we can cross him off the list because the Redskins are a lock to overpay him. They still have London Fletcher Baker playing at a high level so I don't see the point in signing a 29-30yo to back him up.

I don't think we can say that anymore. Will they overpay, sure but only if it fits their needs now with new management in place. Gone are the days of trying to create the best fantasy football team anymore IMO.

Agreed. Need some positive news. This is depressing.

Here ya go:thumbup:

Jets trade Kerry Rhodes to Cardinals

Posted by Michael David Smith on March 6, 2010 6:59 PM ET

Kerry Rhodes is on the move.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the New York Jets have traded Rhodes to the Arizona Cardinals for a fourth-round pick this year and a seventh-round pick next year.

For the Cardinals, they pick up a safety a day after Antrel Rolle signed with the New York Giants. For the Jets, they get rid of a safety who was unhappy with his role in the defense in 2009.

The Jets also get rid of a safety they claimed they were going to keep. General managers don't always tell the truth

Also Saturday, the 49ers met with free-agent quarterback David Carr, but they did not make him available to reporters, as had been planned. Carr and the 49ers did not immediately strike a contract agreement, Matt Barrows notes, and the Browns also have interest, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. The Cardinals also have had interest in Carr.
Looks like Carr did not sign with the 49ers. Is he coming here soon?
