First off, let me say, congrats on the win over the Vikings. You guys just wrapped up the NFC West with that win. Kudos on that.

Now, on to the more important topic, will the 49ers just bow down to the Cards now when they cruise into Candlestick? Hell no.

That is our HOUSE! Even though that's only a small glimpse of hope left, we are still going to come out fighting. I don't want to hear any excuses from you Cards fans this time around (Boldin hurt, we weren't ready, etc...), BRING IT!

I still don't think that your team is better than ours. Patrick Willis will bring the hurt to Kurt Warner and Alex Smith will tear up your suspect secondary. Frank Gore will get his as always. Vernon Davis will show Adrian Wilson who the real boss is.

Let's do this!

How can you say that with a straight face? Honestly?

Umm because we beat you already? with Shaun Hill remember? Trust me, I can say it with a straight face because it's true. You shall see come the next MNF. There's NOBODY on your team that can stop Vernon Davis.

Your "house" is decrepit, fallng apart and a thing of the past.

The Arizona Cardinals will win their consecutive NFC Western Division Championship in a decisive manner Monday night.

Nothing............. the whiners can do will stop that!

You will declare yourself gone "yet" once again.
Hopefully you keep your word this time!

Wait, according to your spiffy logic, The Niners are better because they beat us once.. But you just lost to Seattle and we beat them twice this year.

does...not....compute.

Oh yeah.. then there's that whole "we're in the same division and we're going to the playoffs again thing...."

Go home and stare at your teams SB trophy's from the glory years Blohard83, cause that's all you got these days.. The Niners are still a wreck and Alex Smith will have yet ANOTHER offense to try and learn come next year, possibly another HC to deal with when coach Rah-Rah is canned.

Can you base this on something else than just throwing up names?

Looking at stats, there's nothing to indicate that the 49ers are a better team. The 49ers has stastitical a better defense, because the Cards give up a shocking 0.1 point more per game. Is that 0.1 point what you base your statement on?

BTW. Do you know that the Cards rank higher than the 49ers in rushing offense eventhough the Cards only had 61 yards per game rushing in the first half of the season?

Guys, you have to remember this is a big game for the Niners. They can get to within a game of .500.

LOL

I got some highlights from Singletary's coaching career.

Maybe he wears that huge cross, so he can pray things don't get any worse in SF.

Niners always play the Cardinals tough. I have a feeling the Cardinals will be more motivated than usual for this game. Looking forward to a 'physical' football game. Let's see if the Cardinals offensive line fares better than they did in week one which was not a pretty picture.

I expect a tough game but I think the telling point will be how the 49ers decide to attack on offense. They went from the most one dimension run offense in the NFL, to a shotgun based spread offense. Smith has been putting up good numbers but when it really counts they haven't come through.

They might get Staley back, he's going to return to practice with the goal of playing this week. Their secondary is beat up at CB, but they have a long week to rest up and they seem to be able to scheme to handle that.

The main difference between the first game for us is not only do we have Boldin playing healthy and Breaston playing, we have a very good run game now, we didn't have one the first time around.

Hopefully, someone reminds Fitz of how Clements was gloating about how he "shut him down" in week 1 after the game.

Huh? Based off the Week 1 match up? That seems like a millennium ago. Clearly, our respective teams have taken two different paths since then. You're team got hot in the beginning then quickly cooled. Meanwhile, we got hot shortly after and have won 7 of 9.

I don't think you'll find a sane person outside of San Fran who will agree with your convoluted way of thinking with regards to who is better. Because the way I see it, the Cards have a commanding 3 game lead in the division and the guillotine is ready to drop on the 49ers season.

The Cardinals are the better team.

That said, I think this will be a tough game. Division games on the road--no matter who the opponent--are not to be taken lightly.

Hey blowhard -

The best thing that could have ever happened from a Cardinals perspective is your team switiching from Hill to Smith. Now Gore is a ghost and we won't have to worry about changing up our style to play you. Before we tried to match you one on one physically and (at the time) that was not our cup of tea.

NOW -You will spread out WR's and try to chuck the ball down the field. LOL You think you can do that better then us? Kurt Warner or Alex Smith???? HAHAHAHAHA

Part of the reason you guys won game one was because Singletary had you guys go full bore in camp. Which prepared you for the first 4 games of the season, and now you have since fallen apart. Our coach is 100x smarter then yours and realizes the big picture is not beating the 49ers in Week One. Now you will get taken behind the woodshed as we are rounding into form and you jokes are playing for your season next week.

Smith will have two turnovers and the Cardinals defense will be out for blood this game. Think what you like about you "still thinking your the better team"

Your as delusional as your coach and you are going to get lit up like a Xmas tree come MNF. HAHAHAHAHAHA

Not only will we CELEBRATE winning back to back NFC WESTERN DIVISION TITLES (IN YOUR HOUSE THAT STINKS)and is falling down.We will watch you travel to the eagles and get embarrassed once more before the season ends.I don't think you have a winning season yet you want to talk mature on this message board,by saying you have a better team?

I think we found out who posted the viking message the other night folks and then got banned.

Most people would have kept this to themselves rather than share with the world that they don't have any cred left.

What will you call yourself next year?Your offensive coordinator probably started out calling the wishbone.I'm surprised you even know how to pass the ball yet on your team.I don't think we're to worried about the same gore that got 20 yards on us in the first game.Just like Adrian Peterson got 19 last Sunday Night.

Justin Smith and Patrick Willis are two very good defensive players but they don't equal what the CARDINALS have on defense in our backups who rotate in. Like Bertrand Berry who got 2 more sacks the other night.

I won't wish you goodluck after your fake initial post. You sound like another whiner fan who has'nt seen a winning season for a very, very, very long time. You have the curse of the Yorks and its with you for the rest of your life.:D

If this were a plain ole Sunday afternoon game-- I could imagine a very listless 49er team for the game.

The Seattle game was a tough loss -- and given the Cards win over the Vikes -- it effectively became an elimination game for the 49ers.

Instead of playing to take over the lead in the division (the prospect they had been pointing to for the last two weeks) -- 99% of the drama for the game is gone.

The only thing that stops me from predicting an uninspired 49er showing is that it is a nationally televised game (and IIRC, their only one of the year). That may be enough to get them up for the game.

And of course, we have Ben Patrick back.

Vernon Davis seems to be playing at a high level. OTOH, I couldn't help but notice the alligator arms on Michael Crabtree when he caught sight on Lawyer Malloy in the endzone last Sunday. Not exactly the picture of courage. He's no Anquan Boldin that's for sure.

I have no problem with a fan backing his team. The 49ers are a good young team and will have 2 #1 picks in the draft. They will be better next year and have found a starting QB. They are tough at home and beat us on our home field. I don't know why they do so poorly on the road but the Cards always had that problem until this year. This will be a very tough game. No smack talk from me. I'l be glad to come out of the game with a win for the Cards even if the score is 21 to 20.

Go Hard, Listen up.

We welcome fans from other teams to present your views and thought. However, you are dealing with very knowledgeable fans here. We are not afraid of saying our team, player, coach or unit sucks when they do. We also recognize when they play well.

Comments from opposing fans are not readily or kindly accepted when they are just rah-rah or troll type statements.

I respect your team and I believe they will give us a good game and maybe, MAYBE , even win. That's the huge difference between you and the poster on this board. That being said, let me state my thoughts on this game.

The Cardinal team you will face this week is nowhere near the team you faced on opening day. This machine is running at a peak performance level on all phases of the game. We can beat you offensively. We can out coached you. We can beat you with special teams, and to a slightly lesser degree , can beat you with defense.

When you match unit to unit, we are the superior team in most phases of the game. Does that give us an automatic win this week? Absolutely not.

THIS is the way you should make your point. If you think you are going to come here to just ruffle some feathers,( no pun intended), you are sadly mistaken and will be made to look like a complete fool.

So once again, welcome. Just don't come here and make stupid unsubtantiated statements like, " We are a better team than you". That's just, well, STUPID!

Yes, by that logic the Raiders are better than the Eagles, Steelers, and Bengals right?
