Berlin Rebels: Cash:$-202,652.73

Somebody help me....what is the owner hoping for by blowing his wad on construction with a negative balance. There has to be some type of limit or penalty right?

After a while, you lose your team.

We're looking really good on the $$ front. Should we try to maximize the seats in the sections we already have? (so long as we don't jeapordize our ability to pay the current contracts)

Yes...go fer it.

Last year we generated $2.8 mil in ticket sales...the biggest boost came right after construction.

Concession we averaged $92k per game or about $708k fer the season.

Here is our present Team Finances Report:

Current Cash
$2,727,257.16

Daily Salary
$70,501.00 ($2,820,040.00/yr)

Spend whatever you want but keep a daily minimum of $550k in the bank. We'll ride the game concessions to make up the difference.

I could use another $15k or so to pay for my equipment upgrades. My level 16FB has upgraded 2 of the 4 items. :D

I'll play it safe and spend a half mil...we should be able to make that up and more on concessions.

Should we invest another million into expanding the stadium even more now?

I'm all for stadium expansion. It only brings in more money in the long term.

Spend it to make it.

But, I think we ought to max out the seats in the existing sections. It's not nearly as cool as buying new sections and building a kick arse stadium, but it will help us recoup cost THIS SEASON.

Seems to me we're doing okay, but if we drop a mil on a section that won't bring in cash until next season we could potentially be in $$ trouble.

In all honesty, please don't weigh my opinion more than others, though. I'll execute whatever kind of financial plan youse wants to do. But in this case, I'd say we shouldn't buy a new section yet, but rather buy all the seats we can.

Long term better come quick...Joel has to pull about $12 million out of the hat to afford the first wave of equipment upgrades. :)

Balance projection
$3,218,346.16
-34(75,025.00) (rest of salary)
+(4501+8920)55 (sidelines)
+250*125 (club)
+(270+3700)48 (corner)
+6*(160000) concessions
=2 587 461.16

If we end up at that number we can afford one endzone and another corner. With another loan we could get a second endzone. With those numbers it's going to be tight so I suggest no more bonuses and that we cut dead weight CPU players (are contracts guaranteed?).

Yer exactly right - We can also follow the "berlin" model in taking out loans in the offseason.

Are you including gates sales?

Are those different from the 8920/1260/3700 we sold in games one and two?
No - its the same.

Are you projecting the gate sales we'll have with the new seats? We'll also get a boost in concession sales.

100 Level Visitor Sideline (122 - 131) is now fully built out.

100 Level Home Sideline (148-152, 101-105) is now fully built out.

Daily salaries between tomorrow and 7/13 (end of season) is about $75 K / day.

Let's round to $80 K / day. *grabs calculator, abacus and ham sandwich*

25 days x $80 K / day = $2,000,000 salaries remaining.

Home games left - 6.

Concession sales / game - say $170,000 x 6 = $1,020,000.

Ticket sales remaining -

Game 3:
100 LVL sidelines - 1080 x $48 = $51,840
100 LVL Club - 0 x $110 = 0
100 LVL Corner - 0 x $42 = 0
= $51,480

Game 4:
100 LVL sidelines - 1080 x $48 = $51,840
100 LVL Club - 0 x $110 = 0
100 LVL Corner - 0 x $42 = 0
= $51,480

Game 5:
100 LVL sidelines - 1080 x $48 = $51,840
100 LVL Club - 0 x $110 = 0
100 LVL Corner - 0 x $42 = 0
= $51,480

Game 6:
100 LVL sidelines - 1080 x $48 = $51,840
100 LVL Club - 0 x $110 = 0
100 LVL Corner - 270 x $42 = $11,340
= $63,180

Game 7:
100 LVL sidelines - 5,601 x $48 = $268,848
100 LVL Club - 0 x $110 = 0
100 LVL Corner - 3700 x $42 = $155,400
= $424,248

Game 8:
100 LVL sidelines - 10,000 x $48 = $480,000
100 LVL Club - 150 x $110 = $16,500
100 LVL Corner - 3700 x $42 = $155,400
= $651,900

= $1,293,768 from Tickets.

$1,293,768 from Tickets
$1,020,000 from concessions

less $2,000,000 salaries remaining

= $313,768 revenue

Now we have $2,118,346.16 left without the $313,768.

So, I am tempted to buy and EndZone now, but when will the construction for it start? Now or in the offseason?

To fully build out what we already have, it would cost an additional $1,300,000 now.

It ain't gonna matter if you start now or later - so might as well go fer it. Construction kicks in during the end of the offseason.

If we need to dough we could always cancel the project.

Crap...we sound like developers....
