The Bloodline has been one of the standout storylines in recent years in WWE and it could now be set for fresh impetus thanks to Zilla Fatu.

We’re very much in the Bloodline 2.0 era at the moment as Roman Reigns once again has The Usos and Jacob Fatu behind him.

On the other side, Solo Sikoa continues to be impressive, while the MFT’s are also featured regularly.

Nevertheless, we all know the actual bloodline runs deep and we could be set to see another young star arrive.

Zilla Fatu could now join WWE after dropping the HOG title

Zilla Fatu has been linked with a move to WWE for some time now.

At just 26, he has built a reputation as one of the most solid and popular workers on the indie scene and there’s been an expectation for a while that he’d arrive in WWE.

Interestingly, Zilla dropped his HOG title last night and appeared to say his goodbyes. Fellow indie star Amazing Red also wished him good luck.

Another point to make is that Fatu closed out the show by putting up the ones in what looked like a nod to Roman Reigns and the Tribal Chief.

Quite whether Zilla will come into WWE directly or through NXT, remains to be seen. But after being so impressive in HOG and with the Bloodline story still running strong, it seems an ideal opportunity to make the switch.

If not in the coming weeks, then we might well see him appear at Wargames in November.
