Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers said this week that the 2026 season represents a clear opportunity for the team, describing it as a "window" that must be seized.

"Yes, absolutely. We all know that, though. I feel like the whole team knows that. I feel like everybody has a window, like different teams. It doesn't matter who it is, you are going to have a window, and you have to just seize your opportunity. And this is our window, I feel like."

Flowers also cited recent examples around the league when discussing what it takes to turn a new coaching situation around quickly.

"We were so used to [former Ravens head] Coach [John] Harbaugh, and now we have a new start. So, it's like everybody here, everybody wants to prove something. Everybody wants to take that next step. [Seattle Seahawks head coach] Coach Mike Macdonald went to Seattle, and he won the Super Bowl in two years. We are trying to get that done. We are trying to get that done this year though."

Flowers said the focus remains on maximizing the opportunity in front of the roster as the team begins a new era under a revamped coaching staff. Flowers' message reflects a shared urgency within the locker room as Baltimore enters a new era. With a revamped coaching staff and a roster eager to prove itself, the Ravens appear focused on making the most of a moment they believe is theirs to capitalize on.

If that mindset translates into consistent execution, Baltimore could position itself as a serious contender. In a league where windows can close quickly, the Ravens understand the importance of acting now to turn potential into results in the 2026 season.
