Yesterday’s meeting with Pellegrini was not decisive


Roma has several things on their minds these days: contract renewals, transfers due by June 30th, and a high-level transfer campaign for Gasperini.


There are many hot topics at Trigoria, and they risk burning out if they don’t speed things up. One of the hot topics of the last few hours has been Lorenzo Pellegrini’s contract renewal.


Yesterday, the long-awaited meeting between the player’s agents and the Giallorossi club took place to determine whether the conditions are right for the sporting relationship to continue.


The meeting between Roma and Pellegrini was not conclusive.


As Il Romanista reports, the meeting proved to be of an interlocutory nature: the Giallorossi club presented an offer of €3 million plus bonuses and is waiting for a final decision.


Before signing, Pellegrini wants to know his true role within Gian Piero Gasperini’s technical project. The shared intention has not changed; a compromise will need to be found in the coming hours.
