Pellegrini could recover in time for Rome derby
Lorenzo Pellegrini wants to be there for this crucial end of the season for Roma.
The Giallorossi, who have suddenly and unexpectedly regained their faith in the Champions League dream, will play at the Tardini in Parma on Sunday at 6:00 PM.
The chances of seeing the number 7 against the Ducali, reports Il Tempo, are slim.
The midfielder was injured late in the first half against Pisa and missed the games against Atalanta, Bologna, and Fiorentina.
The recovery time was initially estimated at four weeks, and the schedule would see him return to the field for matchday 37, the Rome derby against Lazio.
Once the season is over, the future of the former Giallorossi captain will remain unclear.
Pellegrini’s contract expires in June 2026, and Gasperini values him highly and he could remain at Trigoria, albeit with a drastic salary reduction.
