NEW YORK —Saturday night’s Yankees-Dodgers game at Yankee Stadium has been rained out.


The middle game of the weekend series was scheduled to start at 8:08 p.m., but postponed at 5 p.m. with thunderstorms in the forecast for the entire evening.


The teams will play a Sunday split doubleheader with Game 1 scheduled for 12:35 p.m., and the nightcap first pitch set for 7:20 p.m.


Gates will open at 11 a.m. for the first game and approximately 6 p.m. for Game 2.


The Dodgers won Friday night’s series opener 2-1 on a two-run, seventh-inning homer by Max Muncy off Gerrit Cole.

7 p.m.: Isolated thunderstorms, 94 percent.


8 p.m.: Strong storms, 91 percent.


9 p.m.: Scattered strong storms, 87 percent.


10 p.m.: Thundershowers, 89 percent.


11 p.m.: Thunderstorms, 87 percent.
