NEW YORK — After two Yankees comeback victories over the Blue Jays in two nights, the third game of this week’s four-game series at Yankee Stadium didn’t start on time

With rain forecasted to arrive in the Bronx around the scheduled 7:05 start time, the Yankees announced well before the first pitch that the game would not start on time delay.

The pitching matchup is a good one between two young ace right-handers, the Yankees’ Cam Schlittler (6-1, 1.40) and the Blue Jays’ Trey Yesevage (1-1).

The Yankees prevailed 5-4 on Tuesday night after falling behind 3-0 in the fourth inning. In Monday night’s series opener, the Yankees were down 5-3 in the seventh inning before pulling out a 7-6 victory.
