New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge
The New York Yankees have been missing superstar slugger Aaron Judge since May 31 and it sounds like he's not anywhere near a return.
On Friday, the Yankees slugger gave an update after his rib was re-imaged. While there has been progress, Judge acknowledged that it isn't fully healed at this point, as transcribed by MLB.com's Bryan Hoch.
"Some progress, some healing going on, but not fully healed," Judge said. "So we're still waiting on one more doctor to take a look at it, kind of see how we progress forward the next couple of weeks. But definitely a positive sign that we're seeing some healing.”
While this isn't the greatest update if you're a Yankees fan, Judge did acknowledge that he is expecting to return to the club this season.

"Yeah, definitely. I don't see why I wouldn't," Judge continued.
The Yankees need Judge back, to say the least. There was a time when the Yankees had the best record in the American League. That isn't the case any longer.

The Yankees are in second place in the American League East and are 2 1/2 games behind the Tampa Bay Rays. On top of this, the Boston Red Sox are now just 5 1/2 games behind New York in third place. The standings are getting tighter but unfortunately, New York's biggest star isn't close to a return.
