Hello everybody, and welcome back to another week of the WWE‘s Men’s Power Rankings. With SummerSlam now in the past, we only have Saturday Night’s Main Event planned for the upcoming month, and that happens on September 6th. However, with so many storylines wide open right now, anything can change by Money in the Bank in October.
That being said, let’s get to this week’s list and see how these stories have unfolded since last week. Have a great day, everyone, and may the slams be with you.

Penta falls to tenth on this list after losing the Intercontinental Championship to Chad Gable on Sunday. Penta congratulated Game on his win before the Judgment Day showed up. That led to a tag team match later that night, in which Penta and Gable defeated Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh.
Baron Corbin makes his return to this list ranked ninth after beating Trick Williams at Summerslam this weekend. Corbin and Williams ran it back on Smackdown last week in which Corbin used his US title to win a cheap victory over Williams. After that, Corbin was attacked backstage by Carmelo Hayes, who could be next up for Corbin.
Chad Gable did the unthinkable in his hometown of Minneapolis and defeated Penta for the Intercontinental Championship. Of course, that led to RAW, in which Gable and Penta teamed up to defeat the Judgment Day in a tag team match.

Jey and Jimmy Uso decided to address everyone to start Monday Night RAW last week, including Seth Rollins. While they were running their mouths, the Vision showed up ready to brawl with them. After their skirmish, they ended up b having a tag team match, in which they lost. NO YEET!
Kevin Owens surprised the world by returning to action this weekend and winning the number one contender’s Fatal-Four Way Match. Last week was Owens’ first week back on normal T.V., and he didn’t waste any time by getting in Punk’s face. This feud has been in the making for years, and now we finally get to enjoy it.
Seth “Freakin” Rollins slips to fifth on this list after losing to Roman Reigns in the Main Event last Sunday. Since then, Rollins has cut some promos and gone face to face with a few wrestlers, but for now, it looks like Rollins will be back this week to let us know who his next target is.
Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar in the Main Event last Saturday at SummerSlam. On Monday, the Ruler showed up to RAW to cut a promo after his historic win over Lesnar. However, before he could leave the ring area, Bron Breakker’s music hit, and both came face to face before heading their separate ways. This is clearly setting up Femi’s continuing feud with Paul Heyman’s clique, even though he told Heyman to give Lesnar a thank you.

Cody Rhodes lost his Undisputed WWE Championship match against C.M. Punk, who had an assist he didn’t ask for. Rhodes has been very active since then from dealing with Randy Orton, cutting promos with Punk, and having a staredown with Kevin Owens. No matter what storylines the WWE has for Rhodes, he clearly has a pick and choose your own story path at this point.
C.M. Punk defeated Cody Rhodes to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship, and now moves up to second on the list. With Rhodes most likely going after Orton as his next feud, it only seems fit that Kevin Owens would be next for Punk, especially with Owens being ranked as the number one contender.
Roman Reigns takes over as the number one, pound-for-pound, wrestler in the world. His match with Rollins at SummerSlam was one for the ages. Reigns had the night off from action last Monday, but instead he ended up getting into a promo battle with the Megastar himself, L.A. Knight. With these two superstars renewing their feud, you can expect Knight to get a title match sometime in the near future.
