Hello everybody, and welcome back to another week of the WWE‘s Men’s Power Rankings. With SummerSlam now in the books, the WWE decided to move the Money in the Bank PLE to October 10th, in New Orleans. That means we only have Saturday Night’s Main Event planned until then, and that’s not till September 6th.
That being said, let’s get to this week’s list and see how these stories have unfolded since last week. Have a great day, everyone, and may the slams be with you.

Penta falls to tenth on this list after losing the Intercontinental Championship to Chad Gable on Sunday. For now, Penta stays on this list and should be highly active on the Lucha scene, with so much planned for AAA, NXT, and TNA over the next couple of months.
Baron Corbin makes his return to this list ranked ninth after beating Trick Williams at SummerSlam this weekend. A lot of people may feel that Corbin’s success is well deserved; however, others may not feel this way since Corbin recently returned to the WWE.
Chad Gable did the unthinkable in his hometown of Minneapolis and defeated Penta for the Intercontinental Championship. This was Gable’s first time winning a singles belt, which he celebrated in the ring with his family. For that reason, and the level that Gable has been wrestling at, he makes his debut on this list at the eight spot.
Jey and Jimmy Uso teamed up with Jacob Fatu for their six-man tag team match they had on Saturday. They ended up losing that match to L.A. Knight, Solo Sikoa, and Royce Keys in what was a highly entertaining match between the six superstars. For now, Jey remains at seventh on this list. YEET!
Kevin Owens surprised the world by returning to action this weekend and winning the number one contender’s Fatal-Four Way Match. Now that Owens is back, you can expect Sami Zayn to be pissed about this outcome and start some beef with his former best friend. Regardless, this feat earns Owens the sixth spot on these rankings.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins slips to fifth on this list after losing to Roman Reigns in the Main Event on Sunday. Both wrestlers put on a clinic in this match, and now that the Shield seems buried forever, hopefully Rollins can get back on track with a new feud soon enough.
Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar in the Main Event on Saturday. This match was a Hell in the Cell match that lived up to all the hype. From brutal spots to a classic finish, this match delivered. At the end, Lesnar raised Femi’s arm in victory, signifying that Femi is the next big thing for the WWE.
Cody Rhodes lost his Undisputed WWE Championship match against C.M. Punk, who had an assist he didn’t ask for. Randy Orton made his comeback as well this weekend, which resulted in the American Nightmare receiving an RKO from outta nowhere. Now that Rhodes’ next direction has been written, I can’t wait to see his response this week.

C.M. Punk defeated Cody Rhodes to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship, and now moves up to second on the list. With Rhodes most likely going after Orton, Punk’s new opponent could be either Femi or Owens, who both have a legitimate claim to his throne. For now, it will be great to hear Punk run his mouth on Monday Night RAW tonight.
Roman Reigns takes over as the number one, pound-for-pound wrestler in the world. His match with Rollins at SummerSlam was one for the ages. Outside of all the high spots and tables broken, lies an amazing match wrestled by both superstars. I may get flak for calling Reigns a wrestler, but that’s what I saw in that match.
