It all comes down to night two at WrestleMania 42.
WWE's massive two-day spectacle concludes on Sunday, April 19, with the second half featuring plenty of high stakes affairs that set the stage for the future of the business.
The main event of the entire weekend takes place with heated opponents in Roman Reigns and CM Punk facing off for the World Heavyweight Championship in an epic showdown. Four other title matches will take place, including an expected thriller in the Intercontinental Championship ladder match. Plus, future megastars in Oba Femi and Trick Williams have the chance to reach that next stage when they face established veterans in their WrestleMania debuts.
Will this be a night for the ages? Here are the predictions for WrestleMania 42 night two:

Will this be a night for the ages? Here are the predictions for WrestleMania 42 night two:
Oba Femi vs Brock Lesnar
- Jordan Mendoza: There may be no match with bigger hype than this one, and we get it out of the gate. This ought to be a banger that Big E would say is "big meaty men slapping meat." Femi proves he is the future of the business with a statement victory. Winner: Oba Femi.
- Richard Morin: In a match that will undoubtedly attract a large amount of eyeballs, the monster of the 2000s will come face to face with the monster of the 2020s (and, likely, the 2030s). At the beginning of this program, it seemed so clear that WWE was ready to put Oba over Brock – but that clarity has faded over recent weeks. Winner: Oba Femi.
Intercontinental Championship ladder match: Penta (c) vs Je'Von Evans vs JD McDonagh vs Dragon Lee vs Rusev vs Rey Mysterio
- Jordan Mendoza: With so many high-flying stars, this may steal the show. Expect several shocking spots of people putting their bodies on the line that will have everyone on their feet. You could make the case for all of the stars to win, but the reigning champion is able to keep his prize. Winner: Penta.
- Richard Morin: This has show-stealing potential. I could very much see a shock result such as Dragon Lee or Rusev, but I have a hunch that Penta will retain amid the chaos. Winner: Penta.

Demon Finn Bálor vs Dominik Mysterio
- Jordan Mendoza: It's going to feel so great seeing the demon back. This match has been months − maybe even years − in the making. Bálor has his swagger back now that he's done with The Judgment Day, and unfortunately for Mysterio, there's nothing he can do to stop it. The demon is able to officially put The Judgment Day in the rearview mirror. Winner: Demon Finn Bálor.
- Richard Morin: Fans have long been clamoring for the return of "The Demon," but it doesn't feel earned here. Bálor himself doesn't benefit from a win here and a win for Mysterio would seriously neuter Bálor's WWE career. There's no clean way out. I think everyone wants to move on from this program, so let's get it over with. Winner: Demon Finn Bálor.
United States Championship match: Sami Zayn (c) vs Trick Williams
- Jordan Mendoza: It would be malpractice to let Zayn walk away with the title still in his hands. There's so much proof no matter what, Williams is a superstar and the people continue to love him. He's on his way to becoming a WWE champion one day, and it starts with a huge WrestleMania debut. Winner: Trick Williams.
- Richard Morin: The crowd has fully turned on Zayn and embraced the newest heel in Williams. I think a Trick win is a foregone conclusion here, but the more interesting angle is where does Zayn go from there? Does he crash out, or turn heel altogether? Winner: Trick Williams.
WWE Women's Championship match: Jade Cargill (c) vs Rhea Ripley
- Jordan Mendoza: Cargill has got some backup that will definitely be in play in this match, but is it enough to take out Ripley? The current champion hasn't endured any roadblocks in her time with the company, but that changes when she gets in the ring with someone that knows how to come up big on the grandest stage. We get a title change. Winner: Rhea Ripley.
- Richard Morin: WWE has been anxiously waiting for a Bianca Belair return to pay off their 2025 storyline, but it doesn't seem like Belair is anywhere close. We're due for another Ripley title run, so I'm going with that. Mami will be back on top. Winner: Rhea Ripley.
World Heavyweight Championship match: CM Punk (c) vs Roman Reigns
- Jordan Mendoza: The match of all matches, a feud with so much hatred, there's no doubt this will be a cinema masterpiece with so many layers. No matter what, it's going to be a brutal defeat for whoever loses. Reigns usually has backup on his side in The Usos, but this feels like it won't be needed. Reigns is able to get his swagger back, and he emerges from another main event victorious to stand tall over WWE once again. Winner: Roman Reigns.
- Richard Morin: I don't think the in-ring is too much to get excited about − the build here has been completely disjointed − but there is still intrigue if you know where to look. WWE has been teasing the return of The Bloodline, as well as the potential of a WWE vs. TKO storyline. There could be some big surprises here (The Rock?). Winner: CM Punk.
