They and the Lakers are neck and neck for most dysfunctional franchise in sports.

You're gonna go with that?

Miami Heat & Dolphins

How on earth are those franchises dysfunctional? The heat are flat out first class and the Dolphins are considered a good solid franchise

With #Raiders GM Mike Mayock sending scouts sent home today, who will be in the draft room next week? Sources say other teams have been told the points of contact will be Mayock, coach Jon Gruden, Trey Scott (personnel), Tom Delaney (ops) and Dan Ventrelle (legal).

You gotta be kidding! Suns / Cards are historically the most dysfunctional one two punch! Both are laughing stocks in their respective leagues...

Raiders/Lakers are regularly used for clickbait. Much ado about nada. Seems like a smart move to me...

swagron, you might want to rethink your statement about Arizona. The laughing stock ended when the new stadium was built. Also, the play of Q, Larry and Kurt, and finally making the SB. And haven't they had a string of sellouts? And if Kyler Murray (assuming he's the draft choice) can approach his college play, the excitement will return to the Valley. If Murray fails and Rosen goes to another team and flourishes, then you might be correct.

I agreed with you to some degree but I’m referring to the here and now. If we are talking franchise history, would you call all the Laker and Raider championships dysfunctional? Now is a down time for both cities, but to call another city dysfunctional is somewhat the pot calling the kettle black.

Well, that much is true. It's such a down time in Phoenix sports right now, that no matter how badly another city is doing we need to be silent and just go about our business trying to right our own ship.
Let's just hope it means the Raiders are intending to blow our socks off with an offer.

I'm guessing that the scouts were hired by the previous GM.
Exactly. Apparently Mayock was also blindsided during interview about certain prospects visiting which was supposed to be kept quite. That is probably agents leaking info but why take risks when you going to clean out scouting dept anyway.

I’m referring to current events (past 5-6 years) and not historically.

That last part is what scares the hell out of me better just build this defense line and offense lines and get new toys later on
