British tennis player Emma Raducanu has raised concerns that she may not play the 2026 Wimbledon Championships.
She had not been seen training in recent days. Raducanu reportedly was walking around the facility in an orthopedic boot. On Saturday, she practiced with Anna Kalinskaya but was forced to cut the practice short.
Raducanu also pushed back a scheduled Saturday press conference to Sunday.

Raducanu was spotted walking to practice today with a heavy wrapping around her right lower leg.
No one in her camp has confirmed it, but a shin injury is the rumored issue.

Injuries, surgeries, and long layoffs to recover have persisted. This year, she suffered the aftereffects of a viral illness that kept her out of most of the spring tournaments.
She will always be a Grand Slam champion; however, many wonder if that will be her only career WTA title win because of the injury issues that persist.
Raducanu is expected to take the court on Monday for her first round Wimbledon match against Croatian Antonia Ruzic. Some speculate that she does not want to repeat her Italian Open confusion by withdrawing immediately after her press conference. They believe she will use Saturday to decide whether she is going to play on Monday and announce her withdrawal tomorrow if she decides that is the best course of action for her physically.
