Caitlin Clark was spotted at Oracle Park during the San Francisco Giants’ matchup against the Arizona Diamondbacks, just before the Indiana Fever were due to take on the Golden State Valkyries.

Even on a day off, Clark managed to turn a regular MLB afternoon into a WNBA talking point. Her appearance quickly became another crossover moment for one of the league’s biggest names.

Arizona went on to win the game 3-2, completing a three-game sweep of the Giants at Oracle Park.

Caitlin Clark catches San Francisco Giants game before Indiana Fever return

Clark was shown in an MLB social media post enjoying the game between Fever commitments.

“WNBA star Caitlin Clark stopped by to catch a Giants game between games of her own,” the MLB’s X handle wrote.

She was seen near the Giants dugout wearing a black-and-white San Francisco cap, watching the action before Indiana’s clash with the Valkyries.

The timing made sense. The Fever were already in the Bay Area, with a game at Chase Center on the schedule. It gave Clark a rare chance to catch some baseball during a break.

Arizona edged the game 3-2, with Geraldo Perdomo breaking a tie on a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning.

The reaction to Clark’s outing was mixed, which has become standard whenever she is seen outside of basketball.

One critic wrote, “She should be in the gym training, on the court practicing, not yucking it up like some tourist.” Another took aim at the league, saying, “Baseball promotes Clark better than her own sport.”

Her choice of hat also raised eyebrows, with one fan asking, “She’s a Giants fan? Since when?” The same theme showed up again when another comment read, “Other sports support her more than the WNBA. Smh.”

Others had no issue with the visit, especially because Clark’s love for sports beyond basketball is well known. One fan summed that side up with, “She’s such a sports junkie, love it!”

Whether positive or negative, the reaction showed just how much attention Clark draws. Even a simple trip to the ballpark can spark debate when it involves one of the WNBA’s most-watched players.
