On March 9, the Wisconsin Badgers learned they cracked the top six for a highly coveted four-star prospect.
Wisconsin is set to compete against Boston College, along with conference foes Penn State, Indiana, Washington, and Michigan State, for four-star running back Da'Jon Talley-Rhodes.
247Sports lists Talley-Rhodes as the No. 1 player in Washington, DC. The class of 2027 running back currently plays for St. John's College High School.
Seeing as he's the No. 30 running back in the country, it's no surprise that a ton of top schools are interested. Boston College is the lone non-B1G team in the mix, but the Eagles still provide plenty of competition for the Badgers.
Standing 6-foot-1, 205 pounds, Talley-Rhodes was named WCAC Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference on November 24, 2025.
Talley-Rhodes visited Madison during the Badgers' bye week in late September 2025. Wisconsin has been in the mix for quite some time, as they first extended an offer back on March 16, 2025. Now, it's go time, as they're within reach, but still have to finish the job against five suitable teams.
