He won the Gold for the USA!
He’s the hero. Canada was really taking it to them but couldn’t it past him. They also missed the net on some chances. McKinnon shanked on an open net. Bennington was also sharp. Had some good saves.
Great tribute. His family deserves that moment. They are all champions!

that was great. almost felt like destiny because J. Gaudreau could have been the one scoring the OT winner to clinch the gold. He did it to the stars in the playoffs in a similar type of situation. I know a lot of Americans are not hockey fans like they are fans of other sports. but the loss of the Gaudreau brothers was beyond devastating. and this makes it feel like he was there on the ice.
