The Palm Beach Post's All-County teams are here!
The Post's is proud to announce the Player of the Year nominees for small school girls basketball.
Player of the Year winners will be announced at an in-person ceremony. More details on the date, time, and location of the ceremony will be released in the coming weeks.
The show is produced with support from Baptist Health Orthopedic Care.
Talk about a splash freshman. Godfrey averaged a team-high 16.0 points per game to lead the Warriors to a 19-7 record and appearance in the second round of the FHSAA regional playoffs. She scored in double digits in all but three games, including a season high of 32 points.
Hallas was a stat-sheet stuffer for the Warriors. She averaged 10.0 points per game and led Jupiter in rebounds (6.4), steals (4.0) and assists (3.8). Hallas' well-rounded game produced season highs of 21 points, 16 rebounds, 11 steals and eight assists on separate occasions.
Ousley was the top scorer for Park Vista this year, helping the Cobras to a 17-4 season. Some of her accolades included a 24-point performance against Boynton Beach and a big performance against Stoneman Douglas in the state tournament revenge game on Feb. 12.
Whyte was a double-double machine as the Gators' leading scorer (16.9) and rebounder (9.5) this season. She bagged 11 of them to help the Gators qualify for the FHSAA regional playoffs. Whyte enjoyed one of the finest nights of her career with 34 points and 18 rebounds in a domination of Palm Beach Central on Jan. 26.
The Rams' veteran center averaged a double-double in points (10.0) and rebounds (11.2) to help Palm Beach Lakes capture a district championship this season. Hall scored 19 points with 13 rebounds to help the Rams beat rival Palm Beach Gardens in the district final. She had multiple games with more than 20 rebounds this year.
Jackson led Jupiter to the best finish of any large classification girls basketball program this season. The Warriors finished with a 19-7 record despite rostering just a single upperclassman. Jupiter defeated Palm Beach Lakes in the state tournament and with a young group, the future looks bright for the program.

Makaylah Wayde, Sr., Wellington – 11.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.1 steals, 1.2 assists
