The Green Bay Packers didn't score many style points during Sunday's 27-18 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, but style points don't count in the NFL and all wins are important, especially considering so many of the top teams are still finding their footing early in the 2025 season.

The Packers are 3-1-1 and widely viewed as one of the NFL's best teams early on. In fact, of the seven power rankings from national outlets we review every week, six had the Packers rising entering Week 7, and four of the power rankings have the Packers solidly in the top five. This is a good football team that must keep building toward playing its best in December and January.

Here's where the Packers stand in NFL power rankings after beating the Bengals and entering Week 7:

USA Today

Week 7 ranking: No. 2 (up 3)

From Nate Davis: "If this seems lofty for a team that hadn't won in a month prior to Sunday, then acknowledged – but it's also partially a function of other clubs failing the Pack up the board. But there's no denying the talent present here or the fact that they got much healthier during their bye. And when your best offensive player is upchucking on the field … while racking up 150 total yards and two TDs? Legit."

ESPN

Week 7 ranking: No. 6 (up 2)

From Rob Demovsky on Packers' lesson learned: "The Packers are the only team in the NFL that has held a double-digit lead in every game this season. But in the past three games, those leads were not safe. They blew a 10-0 advantage in a 13-10 loss to the Browns. They were up 13-0 against the Cowboys but came away with a 40-40 tie. And in the latest game, they saw a 14-point second-half lead cut to six points against the Bengals. They've established a dangerous way to live."

The Athletic

Week 7 ranking: No. 4 (up 4)

From The Athletic on Romeo Doubs: "Doubs was the third Green Bay wide receiver to be selected by fantasy managers and had an ADP of 160 this year. So far, he’s the Packers’ most productive pass catcher and the 77th-highest fantasy scorer (13.08 ppg). He has 18 catches for 234 yards and, most importantly, four touchdowns, which is tied for the sixth most in the league. Rookie receiver Matthew Golden, who was the first Green Bay wide receiver off draft boards this year, had a career-high 86 receiving yards Sunday but has yet to score a touchdown."

CBS Sports

Week 7 ranking: No. 2 (up 5)

From Pete Prisco: "At 3-1-1, they came off their bye and handled the Bengals -- even if it wasn't pretty -- as the defense showed better than it did in the loss to the Cowboys. They've been hit hard by injuries."

SI.com

Week 7 ranking: No. 9 (up 4)

From Connor Orr: "Jordan Love iced the game with an absolutely beautiful throw against the Bengals. Amid this season of QB injury and uncertainty, he’s right up there with Baker Mayfield in the MVP hemisphere. Behind Sam Darnold, he’s the second-most efficient quarterback int he NFL right now."

The Ringer

Week 7 ranking: No. 3 (up 1)

From Diante Lee: "I'd like the Packers not to make a mess out of what should be an easy win for once."

Yahoo Sports

Week 7 ranking: No. 7 (no movement)

From Frank Schwab: "The Packers did enough to beat the Bengals, but it still wasn’t close to the world-beating team from the first two weeks. The Packers are still good, but maybe not quite the team they looked like very early this season. That will be determined when the schedule gets tougher."
