LSU men's basketball added another player to its 2026-27 roster. Marcio Santos committed to joining head coach Will Wade's first team back in Baton Rouge, according to Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress.

Santos, who hails from Brazil, went undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft. He decided to head to the Euroleague, the highest level of competition outside of the United States, and play for Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel. Through 37 games, he averaged 6.9 points and 1.9 rebounds in 14.1 minutes. He shoots 49.3% from the field.

A six-foot-nine center, Santos was also pursued by Kentucky but chose to sign with LSU. He's the second player on Wade's roster, following Mo Dioubate's transfer from the Wildcats. Wade said his staff will focus on the international market ahead of his second stint with the Tigers.

Santos adds size and professional experience to a thin roster. He can shoot from distance and play physical inside, both of which were on display as a young player in the Euroleague.
