It appears like Will Wade wasn't joking when he recently said that he's going to focus on international recruiting at LSU this offseason. The Tigers' efforts to bring global talent to Baton Rouge are succeeding, as Brazilian forward Marcio Santos is set to the join the program next season.

Santos has an interesting background, considering that he's spent the last few years playing professional basketball overseas. He spent last season with Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv, playing 14 minutes per game and shooting over 40 percent from distance.

The 6-foot-9, 23-year-old Brazilian figures to be an interesting weapon for Wade in his first season back with LSU.

Wade recently spoke about the virtues international players bring to the table on Inside College Basketball with Jon Rothstein.

"Those kids have a lot of experience, there's just some natural things they've learned over there that really help in college basketball and can translate to us in college basketball," Wade said.
