Alabama basketball point guard Labaron Philon is on the availability report ahead of the Crimson Tide's game against Mississippi State.

During a press conference hours before the report was released by the SEC, Alabama coach Nate Oats never explicitly stated Philon's status, but consistently mentioned his health and that the sophomore was working towards 100%.

Oats also never mentioned what injury Philon was dealing with. However, he has had a nagging thigh-groin injury throughout the 2025-26 season.

Philon was most recently on the injury report before the Crimson Tide played Auburn on Feb. 7. He was listed as questionable on the initial report, but his status changed to game-time decision on the day of the game.

In the game against LSU, Philon looked worse for wear, scoring just eight points in his worst shooting outing of the year.

Alabama plays Mississippi State at 8 p.m. CT Wednesday on ESPNU.
