The 2026 World Cup has brought no shortage of unique ways for players to represent their countries. And from the look of it, USMNT midfielder Weston McKennie has his own unique way of repping the United States Men's National Team: his hair.
McKennie hasn't specifically mentioned his hair color -- it's typically highlighted in yellow -- but for the World Cup, it features a red spot up front, along with blue and what appears to be a white/light color after that. Yup, those are the colors of the American flag.
So it would appear that McKennie's hair is an ode to the United States and his national team during the 2026 World Cup.
McKennie's approach has worked well so far as he represents his country at the 2026 World Cup. McKennie's impressive look was once again a popular talking point during the Round of 16 match against Belgium.
