Why not Herm Edwards After Mac?

Just heard on ESPN that the Jets Headcoach Edwards has an option to get out of his contract and it sounds like he might take it. What about him as the next head coach? I know we have a lot of Fassel backers but would you take a shot at Edwards first? Also if Dan Reeves gets the can what about him?

Thanks, I was going to do the same thing. EDIT: But I wouldn't mind having Dan Reeves as a temporary (3 seasons) head coach as long as he has a pretty sexy staff come with him. I wouldn't be excited about it, but I wouldn't complain.
