OXFORD — Ole Miss football running back Kewan Lacy will have a unique look during games in the 2026 football season.
Lacy has signed an NIL deal with Q-Collar. He will wear a collar around his neck during games.
According to the Q-Collar press release, the purpose is to prevent brain damage. The collar's function is to apply light pressure to the neck to increases the volume of blood in the skull's blood vessels.
“Football is a physical game, and I know that taking care of my brain is just as important as training my body,” Lacy said in a press release.
Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard and Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz are NFL players who wear the Q-Collar.
Lacy rushed for 1,567 yards in 2025 and an Ole Miss-record 24 touchdowns.
Lacy has been a marketing star in 2026. He is on the cover of EA's upcoming college football video game, alongside Miami wide receiver Malachi Toney and Oregon quarterback Dante Moore.
