Likely he is going to be cut but I don't think it is clear cut since I believe both Scobey and Anderson are eligible for practice squad one more year.

The only problem is that in order to be signed to the practice squad they have to clear waivers. Anderson will be picked up by another team. He started one game and had over 100 total yards against the #2 defense in the league. Don't you think somebody will sign him as a their number 3 RB???

Sporting News said we will probably release Thomas Jones in June and there was a good probability that Dallas would pick him up. Would that be great or what to see Jones run 100+ against us after releasing him. This still seems like a bad move to me.

You are right and I think someone might swoop in and grab him if they tried it. I am very high on Anderson. Scobey to me is an unknown right now but this is why I was against the Smith signing...and given the fact the Cards are putting Smith front and center right now, all those who said it was strictly a marketing move have been proven correct...so far. I am disliking the Smith signing a little more each day.

The Cards did shop him; there were no takers. I think they let him go after June 1 and give the reps to someone who might have a future with the team.

Yes, but with Smith and Shipp......how many reps is ANY other back realistically going to get?
