It's the event that's been talked about for a while: The UFC Freedom 250, an MMA fight slated to take place on the South Lawn of The White House (although rain and bugs might be coming) on Sunday night.
But if you're here, you're probably wondering: Why is the fight taking place on a Sunday night and not the usual Saturday as so many of the UFC events are on? There are two good answers to this one.
First off, it's Donald Trump's birthday, so this could be seen as a present of sorts for the president's 80th. And second, June 14 marks Flag Day, which wraps in nicely with the United States 250th anniversary theme that's surrounding the UFC fight.
