Whether it was theatric or a joke ― because ultimately he got one of his hard-earned gold medals back after "giving" it to the president of the United States ― what was Jordan Stolz thinking to hand over such a precious, coveted award to a greedy billionaire who has flaked the White House with gaudy gold "paint?” (“Stolz shares his Olympic gold with Trump,” May 8).

Wouldn't it have been nice if our local Olympic hero, instead of giving his gold medal to the president, had visited a local children's hospital, found a child who cannot walk much less skate, worked with them on physical therapy, a presented them with a god medal when they were able to walk on their own (“Stolz shares his Olympic gold with Trump,” June 8)?

Jordan Stolz could have shared Olympic gold far differently
