It's time to vote for the Detroit Free Press Buffalo Wild Wings Girls Prep Athlete of the Week.
This week's poll features four players who had standout performances during the week of Feb. 22-28.
Voting will close at noon on Friday, March 6.
Here are the nominees (listed in alphabetical order by last name):
Prediction time: Michigan high school girls basketball playoffs, state champs
Crighton dominated on offense for OLSM in the team's final two games of the regular season. The junior guard started her week with 23 points, 10 rebounds and five assists during a 74-52 win against Birmingham Groves on Feb. 26. During the Eaglets' next game, on Feb. 28, Crighton scored 25 points and had five rebounds and four assists in a 61-39 victory over Detroit Mumford.
Utica Eisenhower closed out its season in back-to-back wins against Clinton Township Chippewa Valley and Flint Powers Catholic. Gojcaj scored 36 points across both games, including 21 in the team's 74-48 victory against Chippewa Valley on Feb. 26.
Saline's senior sharpshooter broke former Miss Michigan winner Tiffanie Shives's all-time 3-point record on Feb. 24, during a 62-37 victory over Ann Arbor Huron. Roehm added to her new record, finishing the week with 317 made 3-pointers and became Saline's assist leader during a 52-31 victory against Brighton on Feb. 26. She scored 33 points, shooting 9-for-18 from three across the team's two games.
The Miss Michigan finalist led Howell to a Kensington Lakes Activities Association Championship during a high-profile 59-51 upset of No. 1 Belleville on Thursday. Williams had 27 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks in the Highlanders' regular season finale.
This week's nominations include reporting from Jared Ramsey.
