It's time to vote for the Detroit Free Press Buffalo Wild Wings Boys Prep Athlete of the Week.
This week's poll features three male athletes – two from lacrosse and one from volleyball – who had standout performances during the week of May 31-June 6.
Voting will close at noon on Friday, June 12.
Here are the nominees (listed in alphabetical order by last name):
CC captured its third Division 1 championship since 2019 when it defeated Hudsonville, 14-10, on June 6. Dye played an impactful role for the Shamrocks in the championship game, finishing with three goals on six attempts along with two assists.
Kenney led the offense for Country Day in the team's 14-12 victory over Forest Hills Central for its fifth Division 2 state championship on Saturday. The junior had six goals and five assists for the Yellow Jackets across the team's final two games.
Ludvik was the catalyst for Lake Orion as the team advanced to the inaugural boys volleyball state championship before falling to Grand Haven, 3-1, on Saturday. Ludvik had 98 kills and three aces in the team's final three games of the season.
