The Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles met at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, in a rare Saturday matchup in Week 16. The Commanders' injury problems continue to pile up as quarterback Marcus Mariota left the game with injuries to his throwing hand and quadriceps muscle. With Josh Johnson under center, the Commanders' offense was stagnant, and they fell to the Eagles 29-18.
Defensively, the Commanders had no answer for Philadelphia's ground game. The Eagles totaled over 200 yards on the ground on Saturday, and A.J. Brown racked up 95 receiving yards by himself. Washington was completely deflated after Mariota went down, and it affected both sides of the ball.
Let's take a look at the best (and worst) performers on both sides of the ball, as graded by Pro Football Focus.
