On March 17, the PNJ released a list of 27 boys lacrosse midseason standouts.
You’ll notice we didn’t rank them. That’s because we’ve cut down the list to 15 nominees to vote on for the PNJ boys lacrosse midseason player of the year.
We allowed readers to choose a Preseason Player of the Year and is letting them do so again at the halfway point.
Milton’s Mason Cawthon won the preseason poll and has been tearing it up in the Panthers midfield so far this season with 38 goals and 14 assists. Who do readers think is the frontrunner at midseason?
All nominees were taken from publicly available information.
Please note that this has no impact on our all-area awards, which will be decided by statistics and input from coaches following the end of the seasons.
