Nebraska junior forward Pryce Sandfort lit up Troy on Thursday as the first official day of 2026 March Madness got underway in Oklahoma City.
Sandfort scored 17 points in the first half, including five 3-pointers made from eight attempts from beyond the arc. If he sounds familiar, it's because he's played college hoops for a bit and has a brother in the NBA.
Sandfort spent the first few years of his college career with Iowa before transferring to Nebraska in 2025. His brother, Payton Sandfort, joined the Oklahoma City Thunder last summer as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa.
Perhaps Pryce Sandfort will follow in his brother's footsteps to make the NBA one day?
He's sure making a heck of an impression during this year's March Madness so far!
