Mick Foley is known as the Hardcore Legend of professional wrestling. And recently, he made headlines after announcing on social media that he would no longer be associated with WWE. The decision was due to President Trump's comments about Rob Reiner after the Hollywood icon was murdered. “I no longer wish to represent a company that coddles a man so seemingly void of compassion as he marches our country towards autocracy," Foley said on social media. "Last night, I informed WWE talent relations that I would not be making any appearances for the company as long as this man remains in office.”

Foley famously was known for three faces or different characters he portrayed as a wrestler. One was Dude Love, another Mankind, and the iconic Cactus Jack.

His most famous match came when he wrestled the Undertaker in a Hell in the Cell clash. Foley was thrown off the top of the cage, taken off on a stretcher, returned to the ring, only to be thrown through the cage on to the ring canvas some 20 feet below. It is inarguably one of the most legendary matches in pro wrestling history if not the top.

There was brutal toll on Foley's body for everything he absorbed in his professional wrestling career. Numerous broken bones, more than 300 stitches, should separations and dislocations. In 1994 he lost two-thirds of his ear when it was caught in a rope during a match with Vader.

Among his wrestling titles won: a four-time world champion, 11-time world tag team champions, two ECW World Tag Team Championships, one WCW World Tag Team Championship, and the inaugural WWF Hardcore Champion.
