Marc Cucurella has been one of the most impactful players for Spain at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
He's also one of the guys you can't help but notice -- he's got huge hair unlike pretty much any other footballer at this tournament.
It's been a part of Cucurella for most of his life, and while he's played for Spain before and represented big teams at the club level, the way he is playing at this World Cup is bringing his hair even more into the spotlight.
It has fans everywhere simply wanting to know more about this left back with the big hair.

Who is Marc Cucurella?
Cucurella is a 27-year old left back, a defender, who plays for Spain internationally and recently moved to Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga for club play.
He spent the last four years representing Chelsea in the English Premier League.
Cucurella was born in Barcelona and came up through the youth setups and Espanyol and then FC Barcelona in his home city.
He never made a senior appearance for Barcelona, appearing 48 times for their 'B' team, before loan spells at Eibar and Getafe.
Cucurella eventually was bought fully by Getafe, where he played another year before joining Brighton & Hove Albion in England for a year before his stint at Chelsea.
Through the World Cup Round of 16, he had played 29 times at senior level for Spain.

Origin of Marc Cucurella's hair
Cucurella has had big hair since his childhood, and it has become his signature look.
He even colored it red after Spain won the 2024 European Championships, according to ESPN.
He also has had it pulled on the pitch.
In 2022, Christian Romero yanked on Cucurella's hair and didn't receive a punishment.
But in 2024, Southampton's Jack Stephens pulled hard on the hair and was given a straight red card.
At this point, no one is quite sure what Cucurella might look like without this voluminous head of hair.
