Kylian Mbappe is inevitable.

The French striker made his presence felt once again in the 2026 World Cup, netting a second-half goal vs. Morocco for his tournament-leading eighth goal. Mbappe's strike and Ousmane Dembele's insurance goal secured Les Bleus a spot in the semifinals on July 14.

France awaits the winner of the Spain vs. Belgium matchup, set to be contested on Friday in California. They may have to hold their breath for more than one reason, however.

Mbappe exited France's victory early, seemingly with a foot issue. He was seen icing it after exiting the game late in the second half, though he was also seen celebrating with his team on the field, so whatever the issue is might be minor.
