Seattle. All of their picks are signed. :D

Sorry. I'll actually check them out and give you an opinion.

I like the Niners' site at first glance.

Side Note: For anything resembling information on the NFL, do NOT go to the Rams' message board.

I'll take the Seahawks because they announce they've signed their first round draft choice.

I think that Arizona and Seattle tie for the top spot. I like simplicity and easy navigation and I think that both of these sites have it.

To me, San Francisco's site just looks like it has too much stuff crammed into a small space.

The St. Louis site does not offer much in multimedia.

All site have good information, but I think the organization and simplicity of the Arizona and Seattle sites stand out.

1. Seattle

2. Rams

3. Niners

4. Cardinals.

Tell you why - All three of the other teams have "Contact Us" and/or "Feedback" links.

The Cardinals - like the Great OZ - hide behind an invisible communications "wall." When people contact me on the BRS with questions that can only be answered by a Cardinal staffer, I have to give them the Hq. phone number.

Note - In terms of graphics and organization of features, I like Seattle best and us next.

I know the guys who do the Cards site, but honestly, I think the Niners have the coolest looking site...kind of busy looking, but I like that. The top players banner is sweet.

Cards next for me, then Seahawks, and finally Rams. Although all of the last three don't seem too busy on the front, and I like busy-ness on a sports site.

Seattle.

I like the way they haven't chopped up the site into a segmented front page--it's more of a "splash page" feel, but still very useful and accesable. It's the difference between looking at a series of small pictures on a wall, or one big one.

I think the others, including Arizona's site, kind of stink because they have a bunch of small things crammed on to one page.

of course, now that I look at the Seahawks closer...I really like the flash headline...bump them up to #2. That's pretty tight, but you have to have a flash guy on staff, which is tough for most teams.

I could do it of course, hint, hint Jim :)

Mike, I swear I didn't try to just be contrary to your opinions when I posted--it just happens we have polar opposite taste in Web site design!

lol, no problem...I like the crammed stuff normally...don't much care for wide open, bare frontpages...at least when it comes to sports.

I agree, Jim, and I put Seattle up front simply because of the depth chart. It's easy to reach on both boards, which I feel is important, to me at least, but Seattle's is updated and ours is not.

I mean, really, how long has it been since Frank Sanders has been with the club? Throw me a frickin' bone here! :D

Seriously though, Jim, let whoever it is that's supposed to keep the depth chart at least relatively up-to-date that it's not kosher.

I like ours - especially the history section.

However, I find it really irritating that in the All-time Results you have to page through from 1920 to present (about 16 times) to see the past few seasons results ("Next" link...)

http://www.azcardinals.com/history/atresults.php

Could a menu be added to have the links:

1920-24 Resultshttp://www.azcardinals.com/history/atresults.php
1925-29 Results http://www.azcardinals.com/history/atresults.php?offset=5&total=82
1930-1934 Results http://www.azcardinals.com/history/atresults.php?offset=10&total=82
1935-1939 Results http://www.azcardinals.com/history/atresults.php?offset=15&total=82

etc etc

It would make navigation much easier!

Thanks!

I would have given the Cards the 3rd spot but...

I HATE THAT STUPID POP UP!

Speaking of Flash guys, during the Bucs Super Bowl run, I discovered that they had some wonderful Flash intros. I emailed the guy and complimented him. He said that he would do them after every game in anticipation for the next weeks game. He said that it takes him about 7 hours to do one of these things.

Here is his info to give credit where credit is due:

John Johnson
Web / Flash Designer
Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Check it out! They have them archived:

http://www.buccaneers.com/bucsnet/av/flashintros.aspx?year=2002

Make sure to check out games 7, 11, 12, and 15.

Great stuff!

When evaluating the site, consider organization, multimedia, entertainment value, and any other criteria you deem important.

Jim:

The Seahawks. If your owner were Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, wouldn't you be motivated to have a first-class web site? ;)

Hey, what about my links to the past results?

Do you think that can be modified?

(now that Boldin is signed, let's get on to important things :D )
