Tennessee softball is playing in the Women's College World Series for the third time in the last four seasons.

The No. 7 seed Lady Vols (47-10) swept No. 10 seed Georgia (41-20) in the NCAA super regional to advance to the program's 10th WCWS in Oklahoma City.

Tennessee will face the winner of No. 2 seed Texas and Arizona State to open the double-elimination bracket on May 28. The game times and TV designations to be announced later.

Tennessee took Game 1 with a 3-1 win on May 21 before clinching the series with a 2-1 win on May 22.

The Lady Vols have made a run to the WCWS semifinals in two of the last three seasons. They were eliminated by the Longhorns last year in a 2-0 loss.

Before 2023, Tennessee hadn't been to Oklahoma City since 2015. The Lady Vols are also making a consecutive trip to the WCWS for the first time since 2012 and 2013.
