The San Francisco 49ers opened Day 2 of the NFL draft by adding offensive line help.

With the No. 43 overall pick, the 49ers selected massive Texas defensive lineman Alfred Collins.

Collins checks in at 6-5, 332 pounds with 34 5/8-inch arms. He moves well for his size and brings some pass rush upside to go along with stout run defense. The 23-year-old spent five years with the Longhorns. Collins played in 64 games with 28 starts and posted 142 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, 13 pass breakups and one interception.

The 49ers have now added two players along the defensive line with their first two picks. San Francisco used the No. 11 overall selection to pick Georgia defensive end Mykell Williams. They're scheduled to pick again at No. 75 overall and No. 100 overall in the third round Friday night.
