I'm excited to see Hightower in traffic, and Brandon Keith to see if his footwork is all that Wolf is raving about.

Also want to see Rolle's adjustment to safety...I think he's going to shine there but I want to see how many kinks he will need ironed out first.

DRC.

I also want to see Hightower run between the tackles. Seidlein play at C, and keep an eye on the 3rd WR competition.

Leinart better be perfect or else the media is going to have his ass yet again..

-DRC, he should dominate considering NOR has crappy receivers after Coleston.
-Hightower, like most of you, i wanna see him run "in between the tackles"
-Brandon Keith?? I hear he's the real deal.
-Travis Laboy,6sk and 4FF in split time at DE? I wanna see what he's got.
-Calais Campbell, great measurables, lets see what they can do.

Hightower, Keith, Campbell, DRC, Rolle, LaBoy.

Having the game aired by ESPN brings mixed blessings: While we're on the national stage, I fully expect them to:

- Focus on Leinart vs. Warner.

- Spend too much time gabbing about Favre and the Jets

- Hold too many useless sideline interviews in the 2H so that they miss action on the field - when all the rookies we want to see are out there.

Word to the wise- After the game, check out the audio replay of the game to determine what Cardinal stuff ESPN may have missed.

Yep, I might even watch the game without sound b/c by the second half they'll be talking about everything except what's happening on the field. They have interviews in the booth and on the sidelines...ugh.

I enjoy the anticipation of witnessing the play of most of the guys mentioned here... But I’m especially curious to see how J.J. Arrington comes out of the box.

If that guy finally shows up, we could be a serious handful to deal with. If it’s like previous years though, to me it’s a major-league disappointment given he has so much to work with, not to mention the countless opportunities the organization presented to him.

Lienart... Plan and simple - it's all about him as it should be... Hightower and everyone else mentioned will be interesting to see, though IMO, making any real judgments on any other player other than Lienart is nearly impossible as it is pre-season afterall and the opposition is not what uit will be in the regular season... The pre-season is all about Matt showing signs that he has improved, learned and is now capable of being a starting NFL QB. Regardless of the competition, he needs to show he can command the offense under all situations, run the red zone, show improved footwork, can make all the required throws, improved accuracy (not leave his WR's hanging on a line to get killed!), etc, etc, etc... I have my doubts...

Trouble with evaluating Long is that St. Pierre or Mondelli will probably be throwing to him. And Hightower will be running behind the second team OL and against a second team DL. At least with a RB you can sense his "style", does he make guys miss, break tackles, block, etc. With a WR it's tougher. JMO.
