The Philadelphia 76ers are in the midst of a search for a new head of the front office after parting ways with Daryl Morey after six seasons as the team's President of Basketball Operations. The Sixers had a lot of success under Morey, but were unable to go deep into the playoffs the way they were hoping for.
In the interim, Bob Myers is running the basketball operations department in Philadelphia. He revealed what he and managing partner Josh Harris are looking for in the new leader of this group and there are some names that have begun to be reported.
Per Marc Stein via his substack, The Stein Line:
Olshey was with the Portland Trail Blazers for 10 seasons before being let go in 2022 while Rozman is a name that Sixers fans should be very familiar with. Rozman was with the Sixers from 2006 through 2022 before leaving to join the Thunder as he rose through the front office ranks in Philadelphia.
