Which prospect at No. 22 overall in the 2025 NFL draft would give the Chargers the best value?

This is the question that ESPN's Jordan Reid answered for each NFL team, and for Los Angeles, he believes it would be Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka.

More pass-game help for quarterback Justin Herbert never hurts, and Egbuka is the best wide receiver remaining on my board. He's a steady and detailed route runner with excellent hands.

The Bolts are in a position where they could go various ways, with many positional needs that must be fulfilled. But Egbuka would give the Chargers the pass-catcher they need to round out the receiver room.

Tabbed by many as one of the safest picks in the draft, Egbuka is a well-rounded wideout with polished route-running skills, reliable hands, and toughness as a blocker. He might be suited better in the slot, where Ladd McConkey lines up, but he has the physical gifts to play on the outside.

Additionally, according to ESPN's Peter Schrager, Egbuka was considered one of two prospects who won the interview process and are universally beloved as people, in addition to their playing ability.

There is a slight chance that one of Michigan's Colston Loveland or Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan is available, but Egbuka would still be a solid pick to improve the passing game.
