Which prospect at 14th overall in the 2025 NFL draft would give the Indianapolis Colts the best value?

This is the question that ESPN draft analyst Jordan Reid answered for each NFL team.

Of course, outside of a consensus top prospect falling to the Colts at pick No. 14, Reid believes that Michigan tight end Colston Loveland gives Indianapolis the best value.

For those wondering about Penn State tight end Tyler Warren, who would certainly also fit this mold, Reid already named his the Bears' best value pick at 10th overall.

"Loveland is a picture-perfect fit in Shane Steichen's offense and is No. 16 in my rankings," wrote Reid. "His serviceable blocking and adaptability as a pass catcher would help him become an early contributor."

Loveland's presence would very much provide the Colts' passing game with a big boost from the tight end position. He can line up across the formation and attack all levels of the field. This not only creates opportunities for Loveland to exploit, but also for other pass-catchers in the offense as well.

However, not to be forgotten about when discussing this position in Shane Steichen's offense is the importance of holding up as a run-blocker, which Reid believes Loveland can do, calling him "serviceable."

Having a well-rounded skill set within an offense at the tight end position adds a layer of unpredictability to an offense because that player can wear a variety of hats.
