Is it 28 new players on the 53 man roster?

Is that common for a team in Arizona's situation?

Seems like a high list turnover to me but I am new to NFL. Still getting my head around waivers, draft rules etc.

Do teams trying to climb the ladder typically 'pick and stick' with a group of younger players, giving them time to develop? Or do they churn players very quickly searching for the right combination?

The offense.

The future of this organization for the next 4 to 5 years hinges on the gamble that this offensive philosophy is going to work.

A formidable defense has been disassembled over the last 4 years, and a whole lot of draft capital and $$$ sunk into this offense.

Not to mention the risk of the coach currently running the team......

Yeah, this offense HAS TO succeed.

Don’t know why I feel this but I think Suggs will be a major disappointment. I do hope I’m wrong.

Been thinking the same thing. Over the hill and sliding down it fast. May be good for 20-25 snaps a game at best. If he's playing more than that look out!

Welcome and you will learn a ton by just reading these threads. You will quickly figure out who are the most knowledgeable posters.

Yes it is common when you have a HC change that there is a lot of churn on the roster, especially when you sucked so bad you got the #1 overall pick.

The Seahawks for example when Carrol was first hired churned players like crazy but as they found ones that fit their system they hung onto them. The Patriots don't churn nearly as much because they have a great roster so they stick with players until their play starts to decline of they get too expensive.

For our Cards I expect far less churn next year but there should be a bunch of additions on the Oline and most likely the Dline. If K2 and SK did well in this draft and follow that up with a good FA period next year and another good draft then the churn should slow down dramatically.
