The FIFA World Cup is upon us. The highly-anticipated sports event runs Thursday, June 11 through Sunday, July 19. If you can't make it to any of the host cities to watch all the action in person, your next best bet on Cape Cod may be watching it at a local establishment.

Here is a look at a few Cape Cod bars and restaurants that will be showing the FIFA World Cup games.

Sandwich Taverna, Sandwich

You'll have plenty of options to watch the World Cup games at the Sandwich Taverna. With 19 TVs in total, you're almost guaranteed a seat where you can view all the action. The bar has 11 televisions, most of which are 65 inches. The dining room has an additional 8 televisions, two of which are 80 inches and attached to arms that can rotate. Because each TV in the bar has its own cable box, owner Thanos Gossios says "you could have 11 different games (playing) at the same time." Topping the 80-inch TVs is a 10-foot projection screen above the fireplace that Gossios expects to use.

Once you find your seat, Gossios says you'll have plenty to choose from off their "very broad" menu to feed your appetite. Pretzels stuffed with cheese and jalapenos, tater tot nachos with pulled pork, wings, pizza, buffalo mac, and steak tips are just a few of Gossios' recommendations. And, if the games ever fall between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, you'll be able to get all your appetizers at half price.

Sandwich Taverna has roughly 60 seats in the bar and close to 200 in the dining area. "All the tables are very nicely set up and organized," says Gossios. "You pretty much don't have a bad seat in the house."

Dino's Sports Bar, Mashpee

Dino's Sports Bar in Mashpee is kind of a no brainer given that sports is in the name. But if there was ever any doubt, Beth McInnis of Dino's assures us that you'll be able to enjoy the soccer extravaganza on what she describes as "a lot of TVs" — 30 in total. Regular menu offerings will be available.

The Lanes Bowl and Bistro, Mashpee

The Lanes Bowl and Bistro in Mashpee may be known for bowling, but come World Cup time you'll be able to view all the soccer action on any of the establishment's 16 televisions, 11 of which are located in the bistro. You also have the option of watching the World Cup while bowling, thanks to the five additional televisions in the lanes section.
